Support for HP Laserjet 4/4M Postscript in Windows XP Professional

Why doesn't Win XP support the Laserjet 4/4M with
Postscript card and 10MB of exta memory? I was successful
in using Win98SE with this same printer with no difficulty
for the whole time I used this OS, but no luck with
Windows XP! A similar result obtained with the Epson
Stylus 1520 color printer when I try to use the Epson
StylusRIP (No C842621-0200) with a postscrip driver (it
all worked well with Win98SE also). Is there a patch of
some kind or work-around that anyone has discovered?

What error report did you get with the Laserjet 4?! I used to have an error
report, but solved it by someones suggestion to change the settings in
internet options.

Now I've lost that sollution and - having reorganised my pc - have the old
problem back!
