D Doug Feb 4, 2009 #1 In excel how do I get the 15th to show the th in superscript and leave the 15 as normal.
D Dave Peterson Feb 4, 2009 #2 Type 15th in a cell This technique doesn't work with formulas or real numbers (but works ok with Text numbers.) Select the "th" in the formula bar Format|Cells Check superscript. If you have lots to do, you may want to try John Walkenbach's utility: http://j-walk.com/ss/excel/files/supersub.htm

F Fred Smith Feb 4, 2009 #3 Select just the "th" in the cell. Right click. Choose Format Cells... Under Effects, check superscript. Regards, Fred.

A Alojz Feb 5, 2009 #4 I guess 15th is text, not value (cannot make check as I do not have english excel). If it is text edit the cell (F2), higlight "th" by mouse, righ-click, choose format cells -text, check superscript, press ok, hit enter.
