Superscript in Custom Format

E

Emece

I want to do a custom format that includes Km2, with the 2 as a superscript.
First I write it down in a cell and set the 2 to be a superscript. Eventhough
in the cell I see it correctly, in the formula bar I don't see the 2 as a
superscript. So when I select it and paste it in the custom format, the
number is displayed normally and not in the way I want. Why does this happen?

Thanks in advance

Regards,
Emece.-

Format>Cells>Custom

0" Km" Alt + 0178

Type the 0" Km" then hold Alt key and type 0178 on the NumPad at rightside
of keyboard.

Consider using the unicode symbol for KM2:

㎢

It is U+33A2 (13218 decimal)
