super slow windows "extraction wizard" performance

Hi, I just got a new Dell pc (with xeon 3.0ghz cpu) and for some
reason, when I download some zip files and try to extract it using the
Windows default "extraction wizard", it is awefully slow... while if I
use WinRAR or WinZIP it is super fast... any one know what is causing
the slow performance?? many thanks!

I'm having exactly the same problem. Zip genius is really fast, while Winzip
is slow.
It wasn't this bad before, it's only recently really slow. (My PC is dell,
2.8ghz Windows XP)
