Sundisk U3 USB stick

Hi all,
When I plug in the U3 USB stick and try to move folders/ files to it, a
popup window tells me -" This operation has been cancelled due to
restrictions in effect on this computer, please contact the system
administrator - and I am the sys' administrator.
What to do now ?

start > run > gpedit.msc
see if anything is enabled or disabled
what to do now? stop running under admin or go DesktopBSD or PC-BSD.
meh.
