Summary tab for mp3s disappeared

I'm using Windows XP Pro Service Pack 2. I never had this problem until
recently. When I right click on an mp3 file and click properties, there used
to be a tab labeled "Summary" with the artist, title, etc. This tab is no
longer there. I can still view the information using Windows Media Player
10, but how do I get the Summary tab back?

Type in Start, Run:

regsvr32 docprop
regsvr32 docprop2

It did not work. I still don't have the Summary tab. When I ran
regsvr32 docprop, I got the message:

docprop was loaded but the DllRegisterServer entry point was not found.
docprop does not appear to be a .DLL or .OCX file.

My mistake. Docprop.dll is not registerable, whereas docprop2.dll should
register fine. I'm wondering if your system is in a domain, and the
EnforceShellExtensionSecurity policy is enabled. If so, you need to add the
following extension to the white-list.

{883373C3-BF89-11D1-BE35-080036B11A03}

Description : Microsoft DocProp Shell Ext
File name : C:\WINDOWS\system32\docprop2.dll

I'm not sure how to enable the policy from a white list. I went to the
Local Security Settings, but I could not find
"EnforceShellExtensionSecurity".

I found something else that is interesting. I have two separate hard
drives (not partitions). If the mp3 is on drive D, I do not have a
Summary tab, but if I copy the file to drive C, I now get the Summary
tab, but there is no tag information. It is just blank.

Interesting! Then it's not a docprop2.dll problem, must be something else.
