Before yesterday, my Word 2000 was working fine. Then
Yesterday afternoon, my son used my Word 2000. This
morning, when I tried opening a file that I had saved the
day before (which was working fine when I saved it), and
the formatting was messed up (everything that had been
centered on the page was now along the left margin), and
below the page of text was what looks to be a formatting
summary of the entire document.
I tried opening several different saved files, and they
all looked the same... with the formatting summary at the
bottom.
By "formatting summary" it says, Normal, Default
Paragraph Font, location where the file was saved, title
of the document, Font name, symbol, Microsoft Word 9.0,
Root Entry, 1 table, etc.
Could my son have changed Word settings in some way? I
have searched the Microsoft Knowledge Base, and found
nothing.
