suggestion for new users using Microsoft Access

I am doing a research project for my class, in which I have to survey
different people using Microsoft access experiences.
Did any one face any problem.If yes please write your story with your
information , how you started using Access, what problems if you had .Any
suggestion for new users.
Any suggestion for new users .Can you emphasize ways in which this software
Microsoft Access can/could be used.

a) don't use MDB for anything
b) Access Data Projects are a great solution
c) Microsoft isn't committed to Microsoft Access; they're too busy
making Xbox and 13 new flavors of Windows-- I would reccomend moving
to Oracle or mySql if you're serious about databases

Perhaps there are language barriers, but perhaps not:

(1) if you expect to get usable information from your survey, you need to be
more specific in the questions you ask. Open-ended questions as you have
asked are not going to give you answers that you can analyze and from which
analysis, draw conclusions.

(2) give up on defending that "it is not homework" -- you already admitted
it is "classwork"

If it is, genuinely, a "survey", then asking for responses from multiple
users is reasonable. This is, arguably, not the place to be doing so.

On the other hand, many appear to suspect that what you are doing is trying
to fool us with the "survey" approach into helping you answer an open-ended
kind of question in your homework, and if that is so, good luck in getting
enough useful answers that you can fool your teacher into thinking you
actually tried working with the product and discovered the issues yourself.

But, a note of caution: many instructors and teachers of Access do monitor
these newsgroups and know whether their students are getting others to do
their homework. It is not beneficial to the student's grade to be 'found
out' in that manner.

who ever you are , let me tell you Iam doing a survey project If Iam getting
any response from any one I add their response in my survey with their names
and forum where I have taken.Its nothing that Iam making fool.If you don't
want to write your respose please don't write like that.I respect every one
in this forum.

I respect every one
in this forum.

Except, perhaps, the one you call a fool? The rest of us in this newsgroup
have a great deal of respect for him, and I can say you would do well to
listen to whatever advice he gives you, even if he were giving you advice on

In all fairness, I think that's actually a translation error. I think
Reema just meant, "It's not that I am trying to fool anyone," in
response to Larry's suggesting that she (he?) was trying to "fool us"
and "fool your teacher".

I think that MDb is for babies; and you kids need to be educated in
order to learn a real database.
