Two weeks ago, I bought a new laptop with Windows Vitsta pre-installed on it.
Suddenly, for seemingly no cause, I am getting an error message when I try to
uninstall a program or instal the new Apple Safari software.
The message says that I don't have access to Windows Installer and that
maybe it is not properly installed. this is new, and I haven't had this
problem before!
This - along with the (literally) man-days I have spent dealing with little
inconsistencies and unnecessary tweaking - and I am left thinking "could
Microsft have made anything more complicated?"
To me, it's quite ridiculous the level of complexity - but anyway...
Hopefully, someone can help me understand what on earth is going on here?
Many thanks!
