Suddenly file/folder titles turned blue (not all). Why?

I just noticed in "My Documents" that some of the titles of folders and files
turned blue suddenly. The titles are in Word, Publisher, etc. Can anyone
tell me why and how to fix it?

This has nothing to do with Word.

Those are most likely compressed folders and are probably the result of a
disc cleanup.

You can turn folder compression of by right-clicking the folder, selecting
Properties and then from the 'General' tab, pick the 'Advanced' button.
There you will find a checkbox to allow folder compression or not.
