Sudden requirement to log on after screen saver, where there was none before

I changed nothing, but all of a sudden I started getting a logon sceen
when coming out of screen saver. It used to come bag already loggen on
with whatever window was on screen when the screen turned off. It's
just the one click log on, but still an annoyance. I can't see where
to turn this off. ANy help would be appreciated.

Right click desktop
Click properties
Click screensaver tab at top
click on whichever screensaver you want to use and DESELECT the box nxt to
"on resume, password protect"
Click apply
click OK
