Sudden error trying to publish....

I edited a page on my website today and when I tried to publish it I am
getting an error that says Server Error: The page mypage.html has been
modified by (unknown) on 18 Nov 2005 1600:14 -0700

This page is one I just modified today not back in November and when I tell
it not to publish that page (just to see if it would go without it) it gives
me the same message for my index page.

Does anyone know what this message means and how I can fix this so I can
update my site? TIA

I usually get this meesage every time I update and I just ignore it, because
the "unknown" person is myself.

Are you sure that it is an error, and not just an informative?

It is definitely an error because when I try to ignore it it cancels my
publish so I am assuming there is no way for me to publish until I figure out
what to do about it. I've been updating this site and publishing it for over
a year and this is the first time I've ever seen this message.
