subsite.site.com or site.com/subsite

hello, my FP 2003 will not upload my subsites I created with FP2003.
They are setup at www.website.com/subsite. This worked fine with my
previous host (GoDaddy). Now I am with 1&1 and in thier domain control
panel subdomains can be created as sub.site.com. Well FP 2003 does not
like this and shows these as seperate websites in the My Websites
folder. FP extensions are installed and I am using 1&1 MS Buget, MS
Home and MS Business, none of them like my domain.com/subdomain issue.
I am leaning toward liking subsite.site.com better anyway.

Any thoughts on a) which is "better" and b) shouldn't my subsite be
uploaded (it is enabled in the File-Publish site routine).

Thanks,
Caleb

Hi,
I think I can help as I am also at 1&1 and also Front Page 2003
First, log in to 1&1, open your domains, click 'new' then 'subdomain'
It will take a few hours for them to get it registered, so be patient.
When you publish your site, publish it as nameofnewsite.your sitename.com
Then upload it using FP2003, publishing it to the new subsite you created.
I remember that I had trouble like you at first...frustrating until you
figure out how they do it, but you will be very glad you are hosted there. I
am. And, if you need to, just call them. They will walk you right through
it. Best support I've ever found.
Let me know when you get it , okay?
