Subreport lines are not printing from Print Preview

I have a report in Access 2002/2003 with a subreport. When I print the
report the report prints the subreport. In Print Preview I see the
subreport on the screen, When I print the Print Preview report the
subreport is not printing. Instead of the subreport I get empty lines.

What can be the reason and how can I remedy the situation?

What's going on in your report? How is the master/child set up? Is there
anything going on in your report that closes a form that you need to leave
open?

FYI -

I've had the same problem...a subreport shows up in print preview, but not
when sent to the printer. In my particular case, the subreport happens to be
in a group footer. This is the only time I've ever seen this...and I think
the only time I've used a subreport in a group footer. There's nothing fancy
going on with code, etc...it's very basic. Same problem appears when running
the program on different machines and different printers so it seems like an
Access bug to me. I noticed another post or two describing this behavior
too. Sending the report directly to the printer rather than previewing first
solves the problem.
