Submit form results to another form

I am trying to setup a page on a web where I have a drop down list (data from
a database, ie results form). I would like a choice in this list to populate
another drop down list. Then a choice in this list produces a table of
appropriate records from a database.

I am looking for the general concepts of how to accomplish this. I know how
to setup a data base and queries.

I know how to create a results form in Front Page.

Any additional help as to the concepts of how to accomplish this??
