submenus not working

After I click start submenus do not expands automatically. I have to click on
the All Programs menu to see the programs and I have to do the same thing
with all the submenus.
Something that I can do to fix this problem.

For the start menu - Right click the start menu button and select
Properties. Click Customize and on the Advanced page, mark the box next to:
"Open submenus when I pause on them with my mouse."
