Subforms

I have a form with a subform on it. Unfortunately during data input not
all the fields on the subform will require input. This in itself is not
a problem, but if the user then selects a new entry for the main form
then tabs into the sub form it jumps to the field the user was last in.

How can I force the subform to always start at a specific field and not
the last one the user left the cursor at?

Can anybody help?

Also for some reason this database won't let more that one person access
the database file at the same time. Why is this? I have created access
applications in the past that several people could access simultaneously.

One way you could do this by what you have described is place
Me![Control].setfocus
in the subforms On Current event, or ON Got Focus event.

Another suggestion is to set the tab stop to no for the controls that you do
not need to enter data in.
