i currently have a website, www.sprobchamber.org, where the hoem page has an
"enter site" button that takes you to the rest of the site. I want to change
that page to have three buttons that lead to three subdomains (tourism,
chamber, and economic development). i have purchased the subdomain
tourism.sprobchamber.org from account support, but i don't know how to get it
into frontpage so that i can connect it to my homepage. any help would be
greatly appreciated! thanks!

You must create a sub site, such as www.sprobchamber.org/tourism

If your host has everything set up properly on the remote server, such as
DNS and possibly host headers, you would simply http publish to the subweb.

The subdomain would then be viewed as http://tourism.sprobchamber.org

You have to create 3 FP subwebs/subsites, then you point the subdomains to the subweb/subsite. FP
extensions do not support direct access to subdomains.

http://tourism.sprobchamber.org = Browser access
http://www.sprobchamber.org/tourisam = FrontPage access

http://chamber.sprobchamber.org = Browser access
http://www.sprobchamber.org/chamber = FrontPage access

http://economic_development.sprobchamber.org = Browser access
http://www.sprobchamber.org/economic_development = FrontPage access

hi there
if you email me I can ph you to wlak you through
do you really need a sudomain? and your host charged you for all your
subdomains?
The host I use has a very easy subdomain wizard, and includes some
subdomains for free.
perhaps you just need to creat them on your front page, what exactly do you
want as a result of your efforts?
when you connect to your site LIVE in frontpage you can create a subdomain
easily. of course when you are live you must be careful because everything
you change is live and changes it online as you work.
OPEN your site live by OPEN, http://yoursite.com, then it will ask for your
password. then when you are online live with your site go to TOOLS then to
SERVER and you will see you can set up a subdomain easily.
I can walk you through front page issues, just email me and I will phone
you, anywhere in north america and some countries (I have a great ph plan)
no charge free
