Sub folder spontaneous disappearing from Outlook 2003

Today one of my inbox sub folders disappered from the list, taking all the
mail in that folder to the cyber grave yard. The new backup utility wasn't
written for nothing.
Is this a known issue in Outlook 2003?

What view of your folder list are you using? All mail items?

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.
