Does anyone know if su.exe works under XP or is there an
update to it. I keep getting RPC server unavailable. I use
it to install software on desktops. the utility runas
won't let you hide the password.

Hi Kris,

Su.exe is the utility in NT4.0 resource kit. There is currently not an
equivalent solution in Windows XP. Possible substitutes are RUNAS command
or SMS.
