Styles & CSS

Latitude

I can take the simplest of things and make them difficult. That said:

Is there a basic on-line primer on how to use Styles and CSS?

What's the difference between the styles in the "Style drop-down menu box"
on the menu bar next to the font drop-down menu box AND the styles found in
Insert Style?

Also is Heading 1, Heading 2, etc (from the Style drop-down menu the same as
h1, h2, etc in the Insert Style?

Thanks, Cecil:)

This applies named styles to selected text.
AND the styles found in Insert Style?

This defines named styles.
