StyleRef field code

Hi,
I've been using the StyleRef field code to display the top level headings in
my document header.
However, I've now set up 2 level 1 Headers ("Heading 1" and "UHeading 1")
and would like the StyleRef field to pick up the first instance of either on
a page.
Whatever I do, this doesn't seem to work.
Is this possible? Can anyone help please?
