Stupid deployment question?

Hi,

I know this must sound like a rather stupid question. Is it possible to do a
zero-based install on a Pocket PC running the correct version of Compact
Framework?

Zero-based install - By simply copying the compiled executable onto the
device then running it.

Certainly (I've done this with numerous little test apps).

Of course, you will have to create a shortcut in Start > Programs
manually (if you want one, that is), and the user will have to manually
delete the application (and shortcut) if they wish to uninstall (as
opposed to using Remove Programs).
