stumped by recurring emails

My problem is limited to one sender, a daily newsletter I
get from Morningstar.com. I get dozens of them at a time,
and they're usually a month or two old. Today I got more
than 1,200 of the same email! When I delete them, they
reappear a minute or two later, but after I delete them a
few times they go away. There are no multiple copies on
the email server, so the problem does not appear to lie
with Morningstar or Verizon. Verizon says there's
something wrong with Outlook, but I am stumped.

What AV are you using? Do you use Norton Internet Security as well? Or any
other firewall product?

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

After searching google.groups.com and finding no answer, Paul Merrion asked:

I'm using McAfee Security Center. I prefer not to discuss my firewall in a public forum.
