Stuck with a homepage

L

Lee

I have a homepage that I can't get rid of it.
Somehow "http://www.search-and-go.com/" has locked itself
as my homepage! I've run Norton and Ad-Aware and come up
blank. I reset the homepage, but when I reboot the
computer it resets back to "http://www.search-and-go.com/"
It's annoying to say the least! I've also reinstalled
Internet explorer, cleaned out the Temporary Internet
Files folder, and did a system search for "search-and-go"
and come up blank.

Any help would be appreciated

First eliminate any scumware.
See
Dealing with Unwanted Spyware, Parasites, Toolbars and Search Engines
http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/unwanted.htm

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each need to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded. There's also a lot more to do than just those two programs.

If trying everything at that site does not fix the problem please post back
in the same thread.
