Stuck in 16 colors! PLEASE HELP!!!!

i had to reinstall winme, and now it only gives me the
option of 16 colors and a 640 ny 480 screen area. please
help!!!! thanks, allison

you need to install the correct video drivers
they should be on the cd that came with your video card

otherwise download them from the mfg's site
