String search across several files, 2007

I have 7 journals (*journal*.docx) from which I need to perform certain
string searches.

In Word 2003 I think we could use some type of file dialog search form. I
don't see the equivalent in 2007. What am I missing?

In Office 2007, the applications are no longer responsible for supplying
document searching; instead, the operating system supplies it.

If you have Windows Vista (or, soon, Windows 7), each file dialog has a
search box in the upper right corner, which invokes the same search as you
would see in the Start menu or in the file manager (Windows Explorer or
whatever they're calling it these days).

If you're still using Windows XP, there is nothing for searching in the
Office 2007 file dialogs. You must use the Windows search.

The quick way to start it is to press Windows key + F.

Ah -- that doesn't sound like a big problem the way you explain it. Yes, I
have Vista (soon to be Win7).

Thanks.
