Sometimes my Windows XP (professional) will freeze. I still see everything
going on (usually only one program will become a white window in the normal
'not responding' fashion), but I cannot click on anything. I see the programs
functioning normally, my mouse works fine. I can CTRL-ALT-DELTE, and open the
task manager, and it pops up fine... But once again, I cannot interact with
it, even though I see it's working fine.
To fix this, I have to CTRL-ALT-DELETE and log off, which will close the ONE
program that is acting in the normal 'not responding' behavior, and I can log
back in and resume to use the computer normally.
Here's my specs:
Windows XP Professional
1GB RAM
Pentium 4 1.8Ghz Processor
nVidia GeForce 6600 GT (probably doesn't matter, but there may be a defect I
don't know about?)
Thanks in advance.
