I have a dual boot computer XP and linux.
This problem only happens with XP so I'm pretty certain its a software
issue.
I have a logitech usb i feel mouse and a cable modem connected to a
pci usb card.
The problem is when downloading or using any software that uses the
modem the mouse doesnt move or moves intermittenly, once modem use has
finished its ok
Since I have no hope of getting the i feel function to work under
linux ive uninstalled the imersion touchware. this did not help.
I then uninstalled the logitech software so windows would load a
generic driver, this also did not work
A temporary fix is to shutdown plug a ps2 mouse in and start up hiding
the ps2 mouse round the back of the computer!
I prefer the shape of the usb mouse and wondered if a more sensible
solution is available.
