Mouse problems

I am having a problem with a mouse on one PC. I bought a new monitor today
and put it on the PC that I am having problems with. When I turn the
computer on the mouse is mobile up until after almost the whole booting
process is done. All of a sudden it moves to the middle of the taskbar and
will not move off of that location. I have done the following with reboots
in-between each activity: Changed from PS2 mouse to USB, a couple different
USB mice. I have gone into device manager and deleted the mice drivers in
there and rebooted. I have put the original monitor back on the computer. No
resolution to the problem.

Does anyone have any ideas? I would really like to get to work on my
photographs.

Thank you.

First, reinstall the drivers for the monitor (video) then the mouse driver
for USB.

Thanks I got it working by working the support for HP. I have a Wacom tablet
that appears to be going bad and fouled up the system.
