Strange tool tip problem

M

MorituriMax

Not a huge problem, but extremely annoying.. when I drag the mouse down to
the bottom of the desktop and my start bar appears along with the right tray
with running apps, when I drag the mouse over each item down there, the
little tooltip bubble that appears to tell me what is currently under the
mouse is BEHIND the bar and cut off.. how can I set it up so the tooltip
bubble appears IN FRONT of the bar? Most times I can't see what it says
because of this.

I have tried unlocking and locking the bar, as well as dragging it to my
default two lines deep as well as the single line thickness..

Thanks for any info.

Hi,

It's a known problem with no permanent resolution. Use of the "show desktop"
feature can often mess up the display order and cause this problem.

It's a bug. No idea when they'll get around to fixing it.

laugh.

Logging off then back on can sometimes cure it, until the next time.
