Strange SpySheriff

[Rogue]

I was recently infected by the SpySheriff trojan, and at first it stopped me from logging on to my computer. After fixing that by starting up in safe mode and using McAfee to clean it up. I can now get on, but it has killed my task manager and my internet. Im not even able to connect to the internet. My desktop is also covered by a blue screen. When I started looking for all the symptoms that it is said to have, all the registry keys, files and other things are not there. The first thing I did was get rid of SpySheriff, but my computer still won't work. Any ideas?

PS. I have used McAfee, Ewido and CleanUp!, and all of them have not helped me in any way.

You must have something else on there, or McAfee has also deleted some required files, because SpySheriff doesn't give these kind of problems.

It is merely an adware program that gives exaggerated reports about potential risks on the computer - the program then prompts the user to purchase a registered version of the software in order to remove the reported risks.

Load HijackThis from HERE, follow the instructions and post a copy of the log file here so I can have a look at it

Also consider ditching McAfee and installing Kaspersky AV
