Strange Problem With SeTcbPrivilege User Right

Yesterday when exiting a game I had my Windows XP computer abruptly do a
cold boot without warning. From that point on, I am not able to start up
the same game and I get some perplexing errors. When I start the game I
am getting dozens of Event message 577 in the Security Event Viewer
complaining that might user logon lacks the SeTcbPrivilege. This privilege
is the "Act as part of the operating system" user privilege in the local
security settings.

Being an administrator, I didn't think much of this, and just as a test I
gave my userid membership in this group, logged out, and logged back in.
Starting the game still generates dozens of errors saying I don't have
SeTcbPrivilege.

Really perplexed why/how I could still get that error, I then made my local
login account part of the Administrators group, logged out, and logged back
in. I still get the SeTcbPrivilege errors.

What could cause this to happen and how do I get rid of these errors?
