Strange message

Hi
i am a network administrator for a domain of win 2000
server one day i need to enter one of the domain computer
using my account but from another computer it gives me the
following message """"an attempt was made to logon , but
the network logon service was not started """ , so what
this mean , is it mean that the person i want to enter his
computer install somthing to avoide me to enter that
computer or just there is some service didnt started

i'll apriciate any try to help me Thanks

It means that the Netlogon service is not started. Manage the machine
remotely if you can and look at the services.
