Strange ! in internet

In surfing I find "!" sometimes after some words, instead of a space.
Typically "!" 's appears after words like support or report, but there have
been other cases as well. I've checked the same pages on other computers no
"!" in there. Still I have seen "!" apear on some other computer than mine,
but not all.

Has anywone else seen this and could tell me where it comes from. I've
checked my computer for viruses (SAV Corp v9) and with spybot and adaware
cleaned everything, but to no avail. Also I have checked strange programs
and IE plugins installed, nothing suspicious.

It would help greatly if you would give a specific URL and tell
exactly where on the page you see these exclamation points.

Sounds more like you are missing whatever font the author used, or the
pages use an odd charset.
