Lately when I have been browsing pages, when I click on a
link it will try and find the page on a previous site I
was at. for example:
Say I am looking at a page about monkeys I found through
Google. If I click on a link on the page to look at
pictures, it will direct me to somethign like
http://www.google.com/pictures.html. this of course
resulting in Google's 404 page. If I hit reload it will do
the same for other pages I have been at. Eventually it
will go to the correct page.
I have tried to erase the Temp Files and the History Files
but nothing is helping.

Thanks,
Julie

Julie:
Which version of Windows do you use?

In IE, left click "history". Left click on a previously
visted site. Are you taken to the correct site?

Have you scanned for viruses at www.pandasoftware.com
and/or www.trendmicro.com ?

Have you checked for spyware using ad-aware and/or spybot
and/or pest patrol?

www.lavasoftusa.com to download Ad-aware

spybot search & destroy
http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=download

www.pestpatrol.com to download their free trial, that
will detect, but not remove the offender. But PP will
tell you how to manually remove the junk.

Best of success.

Sincerely,
Jo
