Strange Icon problem in 'My Computer'

I have a strange problem with one of my 2 internal IDE DVD drives in this
PC.

When I open it up in My Computer, every folder and every file shows as an
Internet Explorer Icon - regardless of what it is (pictures, videos, exe,
doc etc.)

Any idea how I can reset this?

try refreshing the icon cache by deleting the IconCache.db file from your
profile directory (usually /Documents and Settings/Username/Local
Settings/Application Data). It will be automatically recreated.
