Hi,
I was copy and pasting from a library resource and now when I type in Word I have some funky formatting going on. It doesn't show up in the finished product, I think, but it's annoying to type with.

It puts . in bewteen my words, only more in the middle, and it gives me some sort of new paragraph mark that I can't seem to reproduce for you here. Please tell me how to reset to original typing format?

Thanks

Click the button with the paragraph mark (like a back-to-front P with two
verticals, called a pilcrow) on the Standard toolbar, or use Tools > Options
View and check/clear the formatting marks checkboxes. These symbols
actually make a lot of formatting tasks much simpler. It's worth learning
how to use them.

For more information on the meaning and use of these "nonprinting
characters" or "formatting marks," see
