Strange Entry In Start Up

Using WinXP Home SP 2 installed

I have used Start Up Inspector occasionally to help keep unnecessary
things from being loaded when I boot.

It has found the following entry:

%systemroot%\system32\dumprep 0 -u

In the summary, Start Up Inspector says

WARNING: File does not exist!

And a search for it, including system and hidden files comes up with
nothing.

Anyone know what it is? Or what it does? What I should do with it? I
can't delete it if I can't find it.

I can "disable" it in Start Up Inspector, but that doesn't explain
what it is and whether or not it does anything.

Any advice appreciated.

It is the Windows Error Dump Reporting Tool
It should live in C:\Windows\System32

If it is missing, it won't impede your system
There is no need to delete it.
Remove the entry from startup if you wish.

Thank you so much. ( I don't understant how it can show up in the
start up, but not actually be there. I searched and could not find
it.)

I guess I should disable it in Start Up.

Well, I can think of a couple of reasons.
It existed and has been deleted.
or
You are not seeing all the files on your computer.

Depending on your settings windows hides stuff from you.
In Folder Options you can make it show all files.

Also the search function doesn't search all folders by default.
In search goto the advanced settings and make sure, search in system and
hiddens files are checked.

Either way, removing it from startup is not going to hurt.
