Strange cursor movement in windows explorer - XP Home

My cursor is behaving oddly when I right click a file in windows expolorer
(xp home edition). The arrow takes on a life of its own a drifts in slow
motion anywhere it wants. I have no control over this and it's taking me an
aeon to delete or rename a file.

The only thing I have done that might be responsible is load System Mechanic
5 Pro and make some changes under 'Tweak Windows Settings'. However, I don't
recall choosing something that would make mouse control impossible!

Does anyone have any ideas?

If System Mechanic has an "Undo" feature, use it. If not, try a System
Restore to before you made the changes with System Mechanic.

Start>Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Restore
Restore my computer to an earlier time.
