The file is a part of Daemon tools. I've searched their site for solutions
on this problem. Results: A handful of reports on the same error but no
solutions in sight. You may need to contact their tech support directly to
work this one out.

Meanwhile, might try starting with "Last Known Good Configuration:

"How to start your computer by using the Last Known Good Configuration
feature in Windows XP"

Sorry about my name being msnews etc, I was on a friends computer in a hurry
didnt know I put that in the wron box until it was too late, heh..

Anyways, I found this
http://www.planetamd64.com/index.php?showtopic=23560

The only problem with that is I dont seem to have it on my list of updates
in add/remove programs. The other people with the problem fixed it by
removing that update, but I cannot... because I dont see it

Advice?

No advice. If you don't have the update installed, you can't uninstall it.
