Stored movie has still picture after 19 minutes

I use Movie Maker 2 on a Toshiba notebook with P4 2.4,
512 MB and a 40 GB Harddisk.
I wanted to create a movie of a bunch of still pictures,
some mp3-Songs and 12 GB of DV-movies.
I created a 60 minutes long storyboard and everything
went good.
Then i started the finishing of the movie in PAL high
quality ( i´m from germany ) and the system worked for
about one hour.
The finished film looked good for about 20 Minutes. Then
the picture stands still, but the tone went on.
Has anybody an idea, where the failure is ?
