Stored Login data

When I enter a username or password into a website, Windows XP Home asks me
to save it. Over the course of years I've also included some misspelled
usernames, which pop up when I begin to spell the login.

Is there an easily accessible location or file which stores this data and
which I can edit?

Hi PT,

Editing the user name / password is not possible, as they're stored as
encrypted values in the registry. However you can remove a particular entry
using the following tool:

Protected Storage PassView v1.63:

Actually if you just start to type into the box the list of id's should
appear in a drop down list. Just scroll down to the one you *don't* want
and press delete. That works for me. Please let me know if it works for
you too.

That method works fine for the autocomplete forms. However, to remove the
username/password pair from special dialogs (HTTP authentication), one may
need the utility from Nirsoft.
