I am useing windows XP. I added aa aftermarket program, Kodak, that auto
starts on bootup. At least one third to one half of my boot time is this
program. I wish to take it out of autostart and make it start only when I
need it. Can someone tell me how to do this??

It may be a setting in the program. However, go to Start/Run and type
msconfig. On the startup tab, find your program entry and uncheck it.
Click OK and reboot the computer.

Let us know if that solved the issue.

Thanks that worked. Windows got a little excited that i wanted to change
the boot up. But I prevailed. I had forgotten msconfig. The last time i
needed it was Windows2K.
