stoping IE7 being distributed via automatic updates

Is there going to be away of stopping IE7 being distributed via automatic
updates ?
I only want to stop this for a while..

Ive just found a toolkit microsoft have done to stop the distribution

just modify the registry


Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Setup\7.0]
"DoNotAllowIE70"=dword:00000001



save just this key as a reg file, place it on a server that users have
access to and anyone who doesnt wait to upgrade just clicks on it.
