Windows XP Home Edition;

The default set up is for 'My Documents', 'My Pictures' etc to be placed on
C:. I prefer to reserve C: for program files etc and use D: for user data.
Will I upset the equilibrium if I simply use Windows Explorer to drag and
drop (move) these folders onto D:, effectively removing them from the C:
drive ?? If so, is there any other way of acheiving my goal ?

Any help in this direction greatly appreciated.

Roger.

Right-click on My Documents, select properties, and Move the Target.
