stop message 0x0000007B

hello
i have a big problem. yesterday my internet explorer
crashed so i called up my laptop support center. they
asked me to use the repair disk they provided .....after
doing that when i tried to retsrt my computer it gives me
the stop message 0x0000007B ...inaccessible_boot_device.
i dont know what to do now. the supprt center says i
should re-install windows ....but i odnt wanna loose my
data .....can anyone tell me what to do ?

What is the second parameter of the stop error?
This would be the second number inside the parenthesis
eg. STOP:0x0000007B (0,0,0,0) Inaccessible_boot_device
What did you change on the machine between the last successful reboot and
the stop error?
