Some sites... presumably those that use Flash and don't have provision
for non-Flash browsers, prompt me, often multiple times to download
and install Macromedia Flash. I grow weary of this endless barrage.
There is a checkbox on the download prompt... the "nagging", if you
will.... to always trust downloads from that address, but there is no
corresponding checkbox to never bother me about it again.
I don't want Macromedia Flash on my main computer. It is installed on
another in this house, and I cannot tolerate the browsing experience
from that machine. It is dificult enough to read the screen without
animations that distract and compete for my attention, and worsly,
those that rudely block my view until I acknowledge them. The final
straw came when Xtra/MSN, my ISP at the time, used such a device on
their main portal page.

may.

What nagging? I have never been "nagged" to install Macromedia Flash.
When is this "nagging" taking place? At all times? Just when on the
Macromedia Flash website itself? When on pages that use Flash
animations? When online only?
