My home computer keeps running CHKDSK when it is re-
booted....If you don't allow it to run, everything seems
to work fine except that you can't defrag the disk....If
you do let CHKDSK run Sate I Files is OK; Stage II Indexes
is ok; state III security descriptors runs and say it is
adding data attributes to several files....It moves too
fast to get the names but they are all numbers....then it
shuts windows down with the following

STOP: 0X0000007E ( OXC0000005, 0XF7DF351D, 0XF6692C38,
0XF6692938)

Fs_Rec.sys-Address F7DF351D base at F7DF3000, Datestamp
3b7d8361

I searched Fs_Rec.sys but all I could find was referenced
to NT4.....Any ideas what's going on and how to fix
it?????? Thanks

It might be a good idea to do a hard drive diagnostic. You can get a
diagnostic utility from the drive mftr.'s website. Make sure your data
is backed up.
