Stop error

I started my computer, after starting to boot Windows it
went black and then to a blue screen that went as follows:

"Stop: c0000221 {bad image checksum}
the image ole32.dll is possibly corrupt. The header
checksum does not match the computed check sum."

I attempted a safe start of windows as well as a start
from last good point and nothing works, everything takes
me to the blue screen including attempting to boot from
the windows CD.

Thanks.

I was wondering if you have had anyone help you with your
problem. I am having a similar one, I get the same blue
screen, only mine says unmountable boot volume. Anyway,
nothing I have tried has worked either and I was just
wondering if you figured anything out. Thanks.

Thanks so much for the help, unfortunately I have tried
that link many many times and no matter what I try to do,
I cannot seem to get passed the blue screen, I will
probably have to do a system restore, but I am trying
everything that I can in order not to do that. Thanks
anyway for the help!!

Have you run system file checker to verify your windows files? Click
start---run-- type in sfc /scannow.
